Sojourner Countdown Monitor

Sojourner Countdown Monitor is a tool for earning the difficult Sojourner medal. This medal is earned by hacking subsequent portals, without 24 hours elapsing between. It is easy to forget, miss your deadline, and have to start all over. But, no longer!

This app keeps a timer, counting down from 24 hours. When you hack a portal in game, you can reset the timer with a tap, and the countdown begins anew. As the timer approaches zero, it reminds you with increasing intensity.

This app is designed to work with you, and your existing playstyle. You can customize it in many ways:

* Notifications can be dismissible, or a permanent fixture in the notification area.

* Alerts can include vibration, sound, and even voice.

* Widgets, in various sizes, can be placed on your home screen. They display your team colors.

* The aggressiveness of alerts can be adjusted: from only triggering when time expires, to every hour that goes by.

Troubleshooting:

* Occasionally, when your device is under heavy load, the timer’s countdown will seem to hesitate for a few seconds. This is by design… the app defers to other processes in the system, so as to not be a power or processing hog. Rest assured, it has no impact upon the app being accurate.

* If the Reset and Scanner buttons do not show up on the app’s notification panel, swipe down, and they should appear. This is an operating system ‘feature’ that I can seemingly do nothing about.

* There is a cosmetic bug where some devices with five homescreen rows display the widget scrunched up. This is due to the devices falsely reporting the size of the available screen, and I've not yet been able to provide a solution. However, it is only cosmetic, and does not stop the timer from otherwise working.
